Element Six SA, manufacturer of synthetic diamonds and promoted by De Beers, has recently undergone some changes in its management. Cyrus Jilla has been appointed as the company’s new chief executive officer, replacing Christian Hultner.

Jilla is not a new face at Element Six SA. He has served as advisor to De Beers and Element Six management since 1999, and a non-executive director at Element Six since 2003. Apart form the De Beers canvas, he has also served at Bain & Company, global business consultants as managing partner of their London office.

Jilla will occupy office from October 1, 2008, almost at the same time when the current CEO will exit on September 30. He will also join the De Beers SA executive committee.
