Prince Jewellery to expand retail presence

Will be opening more outlets in four cities in South India

Prince Jewellery, an Indian jewellery manufacturer, is expanding its retail presence in the country, beyond its present Chennai operations. It is seeking to expand in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore and Tiruchi regions of the country. At present it operates three large retail showrooms in Chennai.

The company manufactures high-end designer wear, light-weight gold jewellery and a daily-wear range in platinum. The firm has two modern manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Kerala. The company is looking at tapping the South Indian market, for gold jewellery as it is the largest consumer of the metal in the country.
