Su-Raj Diamonds gains 32 hike in net profits

Su-Raj Diamonds has reported its results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, during which it earned a 32 percent increase in its net profits, valuing now at $14.71 million, as recorded at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

this Indian jewellery manufacturer noted a 45.29 percent increase in net sales in the said period, valuing at Rs.22.811 billion ($530.87 million). However, despite the encouraging figures, the company’s net profit margin declined from 3.05 percent a year ago to 2.77 percent.
