Damas to expand manufacturing

Will be seen venturing into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt.

Damas said that it will be supporting its planned regional expansion, by setting up additional manufacturing facilities. Presently, it has manufacturing hubs spread across Arab countries including the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), and the very recent plant in China. The new hubs will be set up in those locations where Damas already has a retail presence.

Worldwide, Damas has a presence in UK, Italy, Libya, Turkey, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Maldives, India, Lebanon and throughout the Arab Gulf countries. Deputy Managing Director at Damas - Mohammad Tamjid Abdullah, said that factories are planned for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt.
