GIA resumes Carlsbad operations

Laboratory to work extra hours to meet schedules

Post the wildfire of Southern California, which had forced its Carlsbad operations to be closed for a while; Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced resuming work as usual. The GIA Carlsbad Laboratory which had also been part of the shut down, will be operating through the weekend to make up for the time loss and to deliver as per deadlines. GIA Education, GIA Carlsbad's administrative offices, GIA Instruments and the GIA Carlsbad Laboratory are part of GIA’s Carlsbad operations.
