Sothebys has slated an auction for its white flawless 84.37 carat diamond, at Geneva on November 14. The stone stands unique, as it will become the largest brilliant-cut diamond ever to be offered at an auction.

The white diamond has been graded by the highest GIA standards of grading and carries a price value of around $12-16 million. The stone has been on display in Hong Kong, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and London, and will travel to Dubai and Bahrain before reaching Geneva for the auction. Prior to the white diamond, the Star of the Season diamond weighing 100.10 carats was the largest to be auctioned. It was bought for $16.5 million in 1995.
