Patriotism, Peace and Passion – A Remarkable Tribute to India by Design Maestro Laksh Pahuja Presented by HRD Antwerp at IIJW 2017

Laksh who is well known for his outstanding creative designs partnered with HRD Antwerp - Europe’s leading authority in diamond grading, education and equipment - to showcase the extraordinary designs which were based on various themes related to India from past to present.

Award winning design maestro – Laksh Pahuja presented by HRD Antwerp showcased 11 exclusive designs as a tribute to India and its heroes at the IIJW 2017 in Mumbai on 24th September, 2017. Laksh who is well known for his outstanding creative designs partnered with HRD Antwerp - Europe’s leading authority in diamond grading, education and equipment - to showcase the extraordinary designs which were based on various themes related to India from past to present.

The show kick-started with the ‘Bharatnam’ necklace whose design concept is based on the ‘Rally of River Movement’. The other astonishing designs included ‘Nightingale of India’ based on singer Lata Mangeshkar, ‘Fire Bird’ based on the legendary icon J. R. D. Tata, ‘Uncommon Jewel’ based on cartoonist R. K. Laxman, ‘Prime Czar’ based on Chess Grand Master Vishwanathan Anand, ‘Barefoot Wonder’ based on artist M. F. Hussain, ‘Unbreakable’ based on medal winning boxer Mary Kom, ‘Wings of Charity’ based on Saint Mother Teresa, ‘Swachh Bharat’ based on the clean India movement, ‘Shahid’ based on freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and the showstopper ‘Jai Hind’ based on the founder of the Azaad Hind Fauj – Subhash Chandra Bose.

The event concluded with LakshPahuja and Ravi Chhabria – MD, HRD Antwerp India - saluting the spirit of India while receiving a stand ovation from the audience.
