Alrosa’s diamond sales in February at USD 401.9 million

Public Joint Stock Company ALROSA, the world leader in diamond mining, recorded a 7 percent increase in its total diamond sales in February 2017 from January 2017. The total diamond sales valued USD 401.9 million.

In February, rough diamond sales by ALROSA Group valued USD 389.8 million while polished diamond sales stood at USD 12.1 million.

“The results in February reflect stable demand in almost all rough diamond categories. Alongside with positive outcomes of the Hong Kong jewelry show in March, it gives us reasons to remain optimistic about demand behavior in all market segments,” says Yury Okoemov, ALROSA Vice President.
