The Israeli Diamond Industry plans to participate at the forthcoming HKTDC’s Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show next month with a pavilion hosting 83 companies, as per reports.

The 1,200 square meters Israel Diamond Pavilion will be organized by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) at the Diamond Hall at the AsiaWorld-Expo, reports add. Apart from companies within the pavilion, around 10 Israeli companies will exhibit in other locations in the show. Four Israeli exhibitors are participating at the show for the first time. Diamonds of all shapes and sizes, including very large and important diamonds, fancy colored stones and exclusive diamond jewellery will be part of the showcase by the Israeli exhibitors.

Inside the pavilion, IDI will host a spacious lounge with refreshments, three “Get Diamond Show” terminals will help buyers search for the offerings by the Israeli exhibitors in the show in English and Chinese and can access the same on their smartphones too.

The Israeli Diamond Industry is positive about attending the show. It notes that the recent emerging positive signs in Asian markets would signal a better 2017. Hong Kong is Israel’s second largest market for polished diamonds, representing close to 30 percent of total polished diamond exports.
