D’damas and WGC introduce the new face for ‘collection g’

D’damas and World Gold Council (WGC) introduced the new face, Sri Lankan Beauty Queen Jacqueline Fernandez, for its contemporary and light weight 18 carat ‘collection g’ line at Hilton Towers in Mumbai on February 1, 2008.

They also launched their Valentines collection at the hands of their new mascot for ‘collection g’. The line is aimed at young professionals, college students who want to be trendy, chic and cool.

Geetanjali Group and D’damas Chairman, Mehul Choksi, said, “Jacqueline and the new line are a great combination since she is has an international fame and the brand has an international name. We are glad to present ‘Collection g’ for the universal and modern women.”

World Gold Council, Indian Subcontinent Managing Director, Ajay Mitra said, “Jacqueline represents the youth who is trendy and fashionable, and ‘collection g’ reflects this trendy style. We are not just exited about the perfect face for the brand but we also believe that Jacqueline will give the brand a fresh look and feel.”
