Designs and Millennials will be discussed at GJEPC’s Design Inspirations seminar

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council’s (GJEPC) annual event – the Design Inspirations seminar is being organised with a list of eminent global speakers presenting new insights to jewellery design and the new focus of catering to tastes of the Millennials, reports say. The seminar will unfold between February 9 - 10 2017, in Mumbai, reports say.

The Design Inspirations seminar is focused at viewing latest trends and evolving ideas within the design environment and their interpretation into jewellery through presentations by the speakers.

The list of speakers this year include jewellery trend forecaster Paola De Luca of The Futurist Ltd; Shimul Vyas of NID; architect Ashiesh Shah; Biren Vaidya, CEO of The Rose; jewellery designer Reena Ahluwalia; Revathi Kant, Titan Company Limited; Suchi Pandya, founder of pipabella.com; and Prerna Agarwal, founder of prerto.com.

The importance given to catering to the aspirations of Millennials has taken precedence in the recent years as they today command a good share in the sales pie.
