A promotional drive is being planned by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) during the Dubai Shopping Festival, to award 100 lucky winners each day of the Festival, with gold prizes, as per reports. The promotion will be held between December 26 until January 28, 2017.

Prizes in gold worth a total of around Dh5 million worth will be presented through the entire Festival.

To participate in the daily draws of the prizes, there would be raffles handed out to customers against their purchases. Those who buy gold jewellery worth Dh500 will be eligible to one raffle coupon, while those who purchase diamond jewellery, pearl or watches worth Dh500 receive two raffle coupons for their enrolment to daily draws. The first prize has been defined as 1/2 kg gold, and there would be two other prizes of 1/4kg gold each. The raffle coupons will be handed by the participating jewellery outlets, kiosks and all terminals of Dubai Duty Free during DSF, as per reports. Also, the daily draw will be held at Deira Gold Souk, where winners would be handed their prize.
