IDE hosts ambassadors’ wives

The women were familiarised with the diamond journey and the bourse

The Israel Diamond Exchange hosted wives of ambassadors from various countries.

Part of the visit included a tour of the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum , where the ladies were familiarised with the diamond process of mining, making and setting into jewellery. Avner Sofiov, the owner of auction house Tzoffey's 1818, presented a lecture on diamond investment and the global diamond market. The women also visited the bourse's Trading Hall.

The group was further led to a gala reception organised in their honor, where they interacted with the IDE's management, including Yoram Dvash and members of the IDE Executive, as per reports. The women were each presented with a gift by the exchange.

The visiting ladies were from countries including Egypt, United States, Belgium, Germany, Singapore, Jordan, Turkey, as per reports.
