Although the Day 1 at Vicenzaro Spring was just average with low visitor attendance compared to its January and September shows but it turned quite crucial with the announcement of new Vicenzaro management structure.

Vicenza Fiera's has received a new status as a 'Corporate Entity'.
This change was made a month back with the company having seven members, with the team being head by Director General Maurizio Castro replacing Corrado Facco.

According to reports, the main objective of this new arrangement is to achieve a more independent and stable position when the indsurty is going thorugh a tough time.

The redevelopmnet og halls which were initiated last year are taking place till now.
One hall, now named ‘D Communities’, has introduced for the first time, segregation of exhibitors by merchandise categories – gold, silver, jewellery and stones.

The booths in each category are colour-coded for easy navigation by visitors. The remodelling of the exhibition space will be completed by 2009.

The show witnessed a thin exhibitor response as it being a Saturday, the organisors are expecting around 12,000 trade visitors.
