Petra sells 121.26 carat white diamond for US$6.0 million

The diamond was sold to a joint venture of Nemesis International and Golden Yellow Diamonds

Petra Diamonds Limited announced having sold the exceptional 121.26 carat white diamond recovered at the Cullinan mine in South Africa, for US$6.0 million (US$49,480 per carat). The stone has been bought by a joint venture comprising Nemesis International and Golden Yellow Diamonds, two leading diamond manufacturers who specialise in large diamonds.

The diamond’s sale was part of the company's June sales process in Johannesburg.
