Antwerp’s polished diamond exports up 4.5% in May

Antwerp’s diamond exports in May saw some upward movement in value terms, as per AWDC, reports say.

There was a 4.5 percent increase in polished diamond exports in the said month, with 480,351 carats of polished diamonds being exported at US$ 1.19 billion. The volume of the polished diamond exports dipped 1.27 percent.

Rough diamond exports rose 20.77 percent in value on y-o-y basis which involved 83,55,514.2 carats of rough diamonds being exported at a value of US$ 1.28 billion. The volume of rough diamond exports rose on y-o-y basis to 9.89 percent, as per reports, reports say.
