Alrosa plans vacation for children of its employees

Will send over 2.5 thousand children on vacation to Russia’s health resorts

PJSC ALROSA, the world leader in diamond mining, is undertaking a social initiative that would benefit the children of the company’s employees. It plans to send over 2.5 thousand children on vacation to Russia’s health resorts during the summer holidays.

The first charter flight Mirny-Gelendzhik has already brought the first group of children from Yakutia to the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar territory. Two hundred children will spend 21 days in Niva, a sanatorium recreation camp for children. This is the second consecutive year when the children have visited the health resort.

“The Company’s experts from the social department and trade union carried out an extensive research to choose a children’s camp. First and foremost, we were focused on security, comfortable accommodation and balanced meals for children,” says Tatiana Volk, lead specialist of ALROSA’s social and regional development section.

Children’s recreation expenses exceed RUB 200 million every year. The company pays for air transportation and accompanying of the children to the holiday resort. More than two thousand children of ALROSA’s employees will spend their summer holidays in the children’s holiday camps in Mirny district.
