De Beers to host viewings of Exceptional and Special Stones in New York

This will be the first time that De Beers’ Auction Sales business conducts viewings in the US

The De Beers Group of Companies will begin its Auction Sales business will conduct viewings of Exceptional and Special Stones at the International Institute of Diamond Valuation (IIDV) offices in New York, ahead of its Cycle 6 auctions. This will be the first time that De Beers’ Auction Sales business conducts viewings in the US.

The viewings will take place from 28 June – 30 June 2016, with the auction scheduled on 20 July. Neil Ventura, Executive Vice President of Auction Sales, said: “We are delighted to start hosting viewings of our Exceptional and Special Stones in New York. We constantly seek ways of improving the levels of convenience and service we can provide our customer base and this represents an important step forward for both existing and potential customers based in the US. We are looking forward to including a wider range of products in future viewings.”
