Bluestone contemplates launching mobile app

The company is also looking at strengthening its technical talent and back-end operations

Online jewellery major Bluestone.com is planning to launch a mobile app, as per reports. Its mobile version of its website attracts about 65-70 percent of buyers and accounts for atleast 50 percent of its business, prompting the company to begin a mobile app soon, as per reports.

The company’s retail reach extends beyond its website also, to online marketplaces like Flipkart and Snapdeal. Since it is increasing its online and digital presence, it is also considering enhancing its back-end operations, increase talent in technology and rendering to deliver the visual appeal in jewellery as expected and desired by consumers.
