Kalyan Jewellers to contribute Rs.20 crore towards "Housing for All"

Leading jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers, is participating in the central government's "Housing for All" scheme, contributing Rs.20 crore towards it, reports say. The brand’s commitment is towards developing 1,000 houses for the underprivileged, in the initial phase, as per reports.

To express the intent for the same, the company chairman - T.S. Kalyanaraman met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the occasion, Mr. T.S. Kalyanaraman also sought the Prime Minister's attention towards industry issues.

For the housing initiative, states of Gujarat, Punjab, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ar those identified, as per reports.
