Christie’s offer rare natural pearl and diamond earrings at Hong Kong

The auction to be held on December 1 and will also offer a wide array of diamonds, fancy coloured diamonds, coloured gemstones, jadeite and signed pieces

The upcoming Christie’s Magnificent Jewels sale scheduled for December 1 in Hong Kong is going to offer a rare natural pearl and diamond Harry Winston earrings estimated to fetch HK$9,500,000 to HK$ 15,000,000 or US$1,200,000 to US$1,900,000.The Harry Winston earrings have two natural saltwater pearl drops, suspended from single-cut diamond caps. 

 Another major attraction is a five-strand natural and cultured pearl necklace accented with diamonds in gold is also expected to draw attention from auction participants. The piece has a pre-sale estimate of HK$6,000,000 to HK$8,000,000 or US$750,000 to US$1,000,000. 

Besides above two, other pearl jewellery highlights include a natural pearl and diamond earrings with diamond tassels mounted in gold, which is expected to sell for HK$3,800,000 to HK$5,800,000; a one-of-a-kind diamond and natural pearl pendant necklace and ring by Forms with a 20.04 carat pear-shaped light brown diamond of SI1 clarity, estimated to fetch HK$3,500,000 to HK$5,500,000; and a natural pearl and diamond necklace by Etcetera for Paspaley. 

Then, Christie’s is also going to offer a wide array of diamonds, fancy coloured diamonds, coloured gemstones, jadeite and signed pieces such as a the ‘Mogok’s Fiery Red’ suite by Fai Dee comprising a Burmese ‘Pigeon’s Blood’ ruby and diamond necklace and a pair of ‘Pigeon’s Blood’ ruby and diamond earrings, etc.
