Alrosa, the Russian mining giant, has appointed Oleg Petrov as director of its United Selling Organisation, with immediate effect. He joined ALROSA last year as adviser of the company's president. United Selling Organisation is the division of ALROSA responsible for the sorting, valuation, pre-sale preparation and sale of diamonds. 

 Earlier, Oleg Petrov was sales and marketing director at PJSC Uralkali, being in charge of commercial activities such as sales and export in Russian Federation, logistics and financing.
