Security systems at the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) would be beefed up, as the Bourse takes measures amidst the rise in terror attacks, reports say. The Bourse’s IDE's Security Committee Chairman Shalom Papir, noted that ‘rules of engagement and regulations regarding the use of force during a security event were revised’, reports say.

There is more importance being given to increasing the level of alertness and patrol numbers to spot suspicious individuals, objects or vehicles in the vicinity including parking lots, entrance areas of the four buildings, reports say.

Medical and security personnel have been on stand-by to offer immediate case if any occurrence of causalities in regards to security.
