BlueStone raises Rs. 100 crore

BlueStone, a prominent online jewellery retailer has raised Rs.100 crore through investor support led by IvyCap Ventures, Accel Partners and Dragoneer Investment Group, reports say. The company intends to utlise these additional funds for expansion and growing its brand, reports say.

This is the third round of the company’s venture funding, with the previous two round culminating into a total capital of Rs.80 crore. Kalaari Capital and Saama Capital, which are investors in BlueStone currently also participated in the third round. The online jeweller also garnered much attention at a time when industrialist Ratan Tata picked up stakes in it.
