De Beers’ Philippe Mellier launches SRK’s new website

In an enthusiastic and interactive atmosphere, SRK launched its new website, eTouch. The online presence was launched by Mr. Philippe Mellier, chief executive of De Beers, who also logged-in with his own username and password and became the first user of SRK e-Touch.

The launch of the website was held at SRK’s Manufacturing hub in Surat, on Match 31, 2015. “SRK –eTouch” is unique in that it’s a one page game, where clients can do multiple functions on a single page, which will guide them to make rational decisions while purchasing. Some of the key elements of SRK e Touch like SRK Inbox, SRK Updates, Multiple Stone Details available for access at time, Easy Comparison along with SRK’s guiding panel on screen will provide clients material facts about their purchase.

“SRK- eTouch” went live for all existing customers of SRK on 2nd April 2015, coinciding with SRK’s 51st anniversary.

Philippe Mellier, Chief Executive, De Beers Group, who was also in Surat for the inauguration of the IIDGR Lab, said: "We see targeted investment and the improved use of technology as vital to the industry’s future success and it is wonderful to see such innovation in the marketing of diamonds here in Surat alongside state of the art manufacturing."
