Tanishq spurs Titan’s revenues by 9.4% in Q3

For the third quarter, Tanishq recorded a rise in revenues, which increased 11.2 percent (on y-o- basis), and which pushed up revenues of Titan Company for the said period, reports say. The company, according to reports, noted that two of its campaigns – ‘Affordable Tanishq’ and a ‘wedding campaign’ were well accepted by consumers and prompted purchase. Income at Tanishq stood at Rs.2347.39 crore in the said quarter, rising from Rs.2110.70 crore in Q3 of last year.

Titan’s overall revenues rose 9.4 percent (on y-o-y basis) in the quarter to Rs 2922.5 crore. There was a 15.2 percent increase in net profits (on y-o-y basis), to Rs 190.7 crore, while EBITDA was worth Rs 276 crore, increasing 12.5 percent (on y-o-y basis).

The company’s other divisions – watches recorded a slight increase in revenues to Rs.442.63 crore; the combined income of businesses including precision engineering, eyewear and accessories stood at Rs. 133.67 crore, from Rs.116.42 crore in Q3 of the previous year, reports add.
