Plans to open standalone ‘Mia’ stores

Tanishq, jewellery division of Tata group intends to open up to 25 standalone stores of its sub-brand 'Mia' by 2016, says a report.

Tanishq, which launched Mia brand for working women in 2011, sells Mia jewellery range from its existing stores at present. As per the plan, the company is likely to open 8-9 standalone Mia stores by the end of current financial year. All the new Mia stores will be franchised. Presently, there are three Mia stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune, adds a report.
