Vasantbhai Gajera, Chairman of Laxmi Diamond was felicitated by Leva Patel Samaj of Amreli district in Gujarat in a grand ceremony on December 14, 2014.

Vasantbhai was honoured for his contribution in the field of education and healthcare. The event was attended by who’s who of the diamond industry. These dignitaries not only attended the event but also announced monetary help toward Vasantbhai’s work. Also, one could see the people of Amreli district who attended the event in huge numbers.

During the event, ‘Trividh Tula (i.e. ceremonial weighing) was held. Vasantbhai was weighed 4 times against silver, blood, books and sugar. As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Vasantbhai intends to set up a hospital and a medical college in Amreli.
