Malabar Gold & Diamonds is providing its online customer to make jewellery purchases using two new features – Smart Buy and Custom Jewellery, reports say. With these new features on its e-commerce portal http://www.shopmgd.com, the company aims to give their clients the privilege to own a jewellery of choice, with convenience of online shopping and an attractive price, as per reports.

Using the Smart Buy option, a customer place an order online, for a jewellery to be manufactured, selecting one from the displayed options on the portal including bridal and everyday jewellery. The jewellery could be either available in stock or out of stock for manufacturing, reports say.

The jewellery can be customised to the size, by opting for a customize option. The price and delivery schedule is displayed and when a customer accepts ‘the smart buy option’, the exclusive price estimate is displayed, reports say.

Customization can become more personal, as one can chose to get a jewellery manufactured as per one’s own jewellery design or make slight alterations in the design appearing on the company website, using the custom jeweller feature. A team will study this and send a price estimate, although the prices may vary depending upon the gold, diamond and stone weight and rate, reports add. Customers may confirm the order through online payment.

The revised price is informed to the customer when the piece is ready and post final payment, the jewellery is delivered.
