Jewellers Association Show 2007 kicks off

186 Stalls displaying gems, jewellery, machinery and periodicals.

Jewellers Association Show 2007 opened on August 17. Chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and Industry Minister Narpat Singh Rajvi made the visit to the show and assured full support to the industry.

Vivek Kala, President, Jewellers Association, Jaipur said, "there is an immediate need of a convention centre and superior infrastructure to support such shows in Jaipur," he further added," appropriate space is also required for a gem bourse for organizing and conducting trade under one roof."

Nirmal Bardiya, Convener,JAS is very positive about show response and expressed gratitude to the visitors, exhibitors and guests for their support.

There are 186 Stalls displaying gems, jewellery, machinery and periodicals. Local and International buyers were seen touring the show on its opening day. The show is open for businessmen and consumers as well.
