Founded in 2015 by designers Melissa Gobeil and Susan Shaw, ATTIC has built its reputation on timeless engagement rings, wedding bands, and solid-gold jewellery crafted in Toronto.
The anniversary year began in May with the addition of seven new pieces to ATTIC’s New Classics line, a collection of simple, versatile designs made to be worn alone or layered. Highlights include a handmade recycled-gold chain and a necklace featuring a Canadian baguette diamond.
A milestone release is scheduled for October 2025, when ATTIC will unveil a limited-edition anniversary collection in partnership with Misfit Diamonds. The line will feature Canadian diamonds, hand-selected in rough form by the founders and cut into antique-inspired shapes such as heart, oval, and pear. Each stone will be set in contemporary designs intended to emphasise its natural character.
The studio, recently nominated for the Canadian Jewellery Association’s Independent Retailer of the Year Award, continues to prioritise ethical practices. All pieces are produced locally using solid gold, with recycled gold incorporated wherever possible, and stones sourced to meet conflict-free standards. ATTIC also offers custom jewellery services, welcoming clients to its renovated Toronto studio or working remotely.
With its anniversary releases, ATTIC underscores its commitment to Canadian craftsmanship, sustainable sourcing, and design that bridges modern simplicity with artisanal heritage.
