This 160-square-meter space offers a diverse array of products, including jewellery, watches, handbags, accessories, sneakers, upscale streetwear, art, and sports memorabilia. Additionally, the salon boasts a wine and spirits bar curated by Sotheby's master of wine, Vanessa Conlin.
The salon was envisioned by the auction house as a discreet and private social gathering place for collectors to convene, share their passions, and expand their knowledge. Clients visiting the salon have the opportunity to purchase items from its ever-changing inventory, participate in live and online auctions, and engage in Sotheby's Sealed, a unique blend of auctions and private sales.
In a separate endeavor, Sotheby's is set to launch its inaugural sale dedicated exclusively to men's jewelry. Scheduled to take place in New York from September 23 to October 5, this event will showcase a selection of over 100 pieces dating from the mid-19th century to the present day. Among the featured designers are prestigious names like Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels, with items available at prices ranging from $3,000 to $300,000.
