A 6.95-carat fancy vivid purplish pink diamond, set in a diamond-flanked ring, is poised to be one of the star lots at Phillips’ “The Geneva Jewels Auction: V” on November 10 at the Hôtel President. The gem is estimated to fetch around $9 million, according to Benoît Repellin, Phillips’ Worldwide Head of Jewellery.
The auction will also feature a remarkable collection of historic jewels from the Vanderbilt family, spanning the Belle Époque to early 20th century. While the full catalog has yet to be released, Phillips has shared that the sale will highlight iconic pieces that combine historical significance with exceptional craftsmanship.
