Gemstone professionals around the world are being offered a rare chance to acquire a substantial volume of rough emeralds, as international auction house Auctim.com prepares to host a landmark online sale featuring 1,463.3 kg of rough Brazilian emeralds, split across 109 distinct lots.

Scheduled to run from 1 to 11 September 2025, the court-ordered liquidation sale includes emeralds ranging from commercial-grade melee to vibrant near-gem-quality stones, presenting a significant buying opportunity for cutters, manufacturers, traders, and gemstone investors.

“This sale stands out due to both the volume and the variety,” said Christophe Moyersoen, CEO of Auctim. “In addition to commercial-grade parcels, bidders will also discover premium material with strong cutting potential and colour appeal.”

The emeralds — originating from Brazil — vary in size from melee to medium stones, with select larger pieces included. Individual lots range from 8,000 to 18,000 grams, offering flexibility for buyers with varying production needs.

In-person viewings are being organised in Antwerp, open strictly to verified B2B buyers who have registered and paid a refundable warranty. All bidding will take place on Auctim’s secure digital platform, with lots awarded to the highest bidders once the auction concludes.
