Indian celebrities continued to strengthen the visibility of natural diamond jewellery on international red carpets during the Cannes Film Festival 2026, where luxury maisons and jewellery brands showcased statement creations through celebrity appearances. From heritage-inspired diamond pieces to contemporary high-jewellery designs, the festival highlighted the growing role of Indian actors in driving global jewellery conversations. Brands including Amrapali Jewels, Chopard, Indriya Jewels and Messika were among those featured through appearances by Alia Bhatt, Aditi Rao Hydari and Tara Sutaria. The red carpet also reflected continued demand for natural diamonds in high-profile fashion and entertainment events, reinforcing their positioning within luxury styling and global brand collaborations.
Alia Bhatt appeared in a pink coral look featuring a necklace designed with 168.27 carats of rare pink coral and a 5.53-carat Golconda-type 2A natural diamond at its centre. The look was paired with ascher-cut diamond earrings from Chopard.
Aditi Rao Hydari wore a neon lime green Tony Ward couture gown styled with a delicate diamond necklace featuring an emerald stone at the centre. The jewellery styling focused on minimal diamond accessorising alongside couture fashion.
Tara Sutaria appeared in a Vivienne Westwood satin ivory gown styled by Tanya Ghavri. She wore the Messika “Turaco” necklace from the Terres d'Instinct collection, featuring 53 carats of diamonds combined with green Sannan Skarn stones. The jewellery set also included matching diamond and emerald chandelier earrings.
