This exclusive showcase, known as IGJS Jaipur 2024, served as a testament to India's rich heritage of craftsmanship in the gem and jewellery industry. Featuring a carefully curated selection of offerings, the event boasted participation from over 54 jewellery manufacturers and exporters, presenting a dazzling array of Diamonds, Loose Gemstones, Gemstone & Diamond Studded Jewellery, and Silver Jewellery.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed a gathering of industry stalwarts, including Dr. Nawal Kishore Agarwal, Nirmal Bardiya, Gopal Kumar, Nilesh Kothari, Smt. Shilpi R. Purohit, Mahendra Agrawal, K.B. Goyal, and B N Gupta, all of whom heralded the importance of this event in promoting India's prowess on the global stage.

With 250 international buyers from 27 countries gracing the occasion, IGJS 2024 emerged as a melting pot of cultures and business opportunities. From Algeria to Uzbekistan, buyers converged in Jaipur to explore the finest offerings from India's gem and jewellery landscape.

Addressing the audience, Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, underscored India's significant contribution to the global market, with annual exports amounting to a staggering USD 40 billion. He emphasized the council's commitment to fostering international trade relations and facilitating favofavourableicies through initiatives like IGJS.

Nilesh Kothari, Convener of International Exhibitions at GJEPC, echoed Shah's sentiments, highlighting the success of IGJS Jaipur in showcasing India's manufacturing capabilities to serve the global market. He emphasized the industry's dedication to quality and innovation, which has been instrumental in driving its success story.

Amidst discussions on emerging trends, Heather Mayantis and Judith Fisher from Reeds Jewelers shared insights on the growing influence of eCommerce and the enduring allure of gemstones. Their testimonials underscored the importance of partnerships and the superior craftsmanship offered by Indian vendors.
