Feel the world in our gems. Find your gems in our world -- GemGenève – 8th edition, 9-12 May 2024
GemGenève is fully booked, with over 200 exhibitors

The eighth edition of GemGenève will be held from 9 to 12 May 2024 in Palexpo Hall 1. The new show will bring together more than 200 exhibitors, including over 190 professional dealers from all over the world. As the founders of this unique event, Thomas Faerber and Ronny Totah are delighted to be welcoming other key players from the world of jewellery, too: internationally-acclaimed schools, renowned laboratories and institutional partners will all be taking part in the event. In all, there will be close to 220 participants getting together in Geneva this spring to celebrate jewellery, precious stones and exclusive gems. The first edition of the event in 2024 promises to be an impactful time of meetings and new discoveries, once again giving enthusiasts and professionals alike an opportunity to experience four amazing days. The show is set to be especially rich and intense, offering the chance to discover rare gemstones, meet influential independent artists, explore the work of emerging talents, attend a panel discussion on antique jewels, relive the history of iconic jewellery houses, and more besides. For its eighth edition, GemGenève will once again be bringing together dealers, experts, gemmologists and inspired artists. In the space of less than five years, GemGenève has become an unmissable international meeting-place offering a full overview of jewellery creation past and present.

The USA and Switzerland take pride of place As in previous editions, US exhibitors are the most numerous, accounting for one-fifth of the participants; 21 countries will be represented in all. Swiss exhibitors are the next-largest group, followed by those from Hong Kong, Germany, Belgium, Thailand and Israel. Some firms are preparing to travel thousands of miles from Japan, Brazil and Australia to be there.

Key figures

GemGenève has seen a record number of bookings for the upcoming edition. No sooner had the curtain rung down on the previous show than most exhibitors were already booking their spot for the next one! 16% of all participants have been supporting GemGenève right from the start, making this the eighth time they’ll be in attendance. The exhibition will be welcoming eight new exhibitors this year, too.

Thomas Faerber and Ronny Totah have travelled the world from one tradeshow to another for the best part of forty years. They’ve sold some incredible jewels, bought spectacular stones, met extraordinary people and made some great friends in the close-knit world of jewellery. Noting that none of the events they’d attended fully met their needs and expectations, they took the bold step of devising a bespoke show of their own where hospitality, comfort and functionality would be the core values.

Today, GemGenève has successfully taken up the challenge of providing exhibitors with the best possible working environment. Each participant is provided with a temporary showroom, serving as their very own functional and personalised showcase. From display cabinets to lighting, every detail has been devised and designed with the greatest of care. Nadège and Ronny Totah are keen to ease the burden on professionals as much as they can, ensuring they enjoy a top-quality exhibitor experience. High-end reception and conciergerie services worthy of the finest establishments are also available without interruption for all exhibitors. By delivering such unique quality of service, GemGenève has won over professionals from the four corners of the globe.
