In a move that reflects the shifting structure of the global jewellery trade, Dialog Solutions Inc. has joined forces with Kunming Diamonds to distribute natural yellow diamonds through a subscription-based platform. The collaboration places Kunming’s exclusive GIA-certified inventory, sized from 0.70 to 5.00 carats, directly into the hands of retailers across major global markets, without the need to purchase or hold stock.

Dialog, the only platform of its kind, operates in over 200 stores across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. This reach, combined with Kunming’s reputation for excellence and integrity in the field of coloured diamonds, positions the partnership as a significant development for diamond retail.

A New Retail Model for Rare Stones

Access to natural fancy coloured diamonds has long remained limited to closed, high-end dealer networks. These stones, rare and high in value, typically fall outside the scope of traditional merchandising. Dialog removes that barrier. Retailers can now preview and present these diamonds in store without financial risk.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kunming Diamonds into Dialog,” said Itay Ariel, Co-Founder of Dialog. “This collaboration gives our retail clients access to exceptional natural-coloured diamonds that are rarely merchandised in this format. Kunming Diamonds are best in class. Their reputation and expertise in this product space is unrivalled.”

Flexibility Without Compromise

Dialog offers a capital-free route to premium inventory. Retailers can introduce ultra-rare diamonds into their stores without taking on the burden of unsold goods. This model fits today’s demands for agility, customer engagement and low operational risk.

For Kunming Diamonds, the partnership opens new distribution avenues while preserving its values of quality and ethical sourcing. A multi-generational business with deep expertise in coloured stones, Kunming sees this as a strategic evolution.

Aligning Trade Interests

“Dialog is reimagining how our industry collaborates,” said Harsh Maheshwari, Director of Kunming Diamonds. “We are proud to partner with a platform that aligns vendor and retailer interests. This is a novel and exciting way to bring exceptional diamonds to market with clarity, flexibility and reach.”

Independent retailers, often unable to compete with larger operations when it comes to rare stones, now gain a powerful tool. The model allows smaller stores to meet demand for prestige inventory and deliver a luxury experience without financial exposure.

The Future of Diamond Merchandising?

Retailers are rethinking inventory strategies and customer engagement and this collaboration provides a timely response. Rare coloured diamonds attract attention and interest, yet the cost and risk have kept them out of most showrooms. That limitation no longer applies.

The collection debuts at the 2025 Luxury and JCK shows in Las Vegas. Participating retailers will view the offering firsthand and see how it can integrate seamlessly into their current systems. In a climate where every square foot counts, Dialog and Kunming Diamonds present a fresh solution to an old retail challenge.
