This highly anticipated launch comes from Cartier Libre, the brand's creative laboratory known for pushing the boundaries of design with innovative watches, jewellery, and accessories.

The original Tutti Frutti collection, inspired by the colourful gem-studded jewellery of India, is celebrated for its bold combinations of sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, often sculpted into leaves, buds, and berries. The new Tutti Tutti collection takes these design elements and gives them a contemporary twist, embracing abstract forms and a modern aesthetic.

This collection retains the hallmark vibrant colours but introduces unexpected shapes, contrasting themes, and a mix of soft lines with dynamic volumes. The pieces are inspired by nature but offer a more expansive interpretation of traditional themes, creating a bold new look for the storied brand.

Among the standout pieces are rings adorned with colourful pendants that shimmer with movement. These rings feature diamonds and onyx, creating a striking chromatic scale of black, green, and white—a colour palette that has been a signature of Cartier since the early 20th century.

One particular ring style showcases a melon-cut gemstone, such as amethyst or chrysoprase, with ribbed grooves and an engraved volume serving as the central stone. The gem is crowned with yellow gold and a pyramid-shaped diamond, while the shank is crafted in matching ribbed 18k yellow gold. Complementing this ring is an all-gold torque bracelet, featuring a grooved bezel of alternating diamonds and onyx.

The collection also includes a set of geometrically designed bracelets and rings that feature 18k white gold triangles encased in diamonds, juxtaposed with chaotic clusters of yellow gold beads.

In addition to jewellery, the Tutti Tutti collection offers an array of timepieces. One standout watch features a playful design with bubbles of various sizes and colours, crafted from blue and white opals, rubellite, blue chalcedony, and tanzanite. At the centre, a tiny dial set with snow-set diamonds is accented by sapphire hour markers, all framed by a textured rose gold bezel and bracelet.

Another watch draws inspiration from the Cartier Coussin design, with a ring and bracelet set paved in sapphires in soft pastel hues, creating a sense of both firmness and flexibility.

A third watch in the collection takes its cues from the classic Cartier tête-à-tête bracelet, reimagining the animal theme in an abstract form. This piece merges two of Cartier's signature colour palettes—one side in red and green with coral and emerald, and the other in blue and green, reflecting the "peacock décor" beloved by Louis Cartier. The watch features silvered obsidian, chalcedony, chrysoprase, and amethyst cabochons, with a snow-set dial nestled among emerald cabochons on the coral side.

Rounding out the collection is a limited-edition jewelry box, featuring a melon-cut chrysoprase as its central motif, crowned with pyramid-shaped onyx. The gemstone is surrounded by a black wood marquetry crown and further encircled by a marquetry of Tulipier and Sycamore wood in shades of blue. Gold-colored threads accent the design, adding a regal touch. Only ten of these exquisite boxes will be available.

The Tutti Tutti collection is a testament to Cartier's ability to honour its rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of design, offering a fresh and modern take on a beloved classic. The collection will be available starting September 1, promising to captivate collectors and jewellery enthusiasts alike.
