Bulgari presented a preview of its forthcoming Eclettica High Jewellery collection at the 98th Academy Awards (Oscars 2026), leveraging the global red carpet as an early showcase platform ahead of the collection’s official unveiling later this month.
The Italian luxury house placed key pieces from the collection on global brand ambassadors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Anne Hathaway, offering an initial look at the design direction and craftsmanship underpinning the new high jewellery line.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore a Serpenti Illusio high jewellery necklace featuring a 14.01-carat cushion-cut sapphire of Madagascar origin, accented with pavé-set diamonds, emeralds, and onyx. The piece reflects Bulgari’s continued emphasis on coloured gemstones and its signature Serpenti design codes.
Anne Hathaway appeared in the Neoclassical Starlight necklace, set with an 8.02-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow pear-shaped diamond, supported by over 35 carats of additional diamonds. The necklace reportedly required more than 850 hours of craftsmanship, underscoring the technical complexity and labour intensity associated with high jewellery production.
The preview highlights Bulgari’s strategic use of high-visibility cultural events to introduce new collections, enabling early global exposure prior to formal launches. By aligning with internationally recognized ambassadors, the brand amplified visibility across key luxury markets, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
From a design perspective, the pieces indicate a continued focus on high-carat centre stones, coloured gemstone combinations, and statement necklaces, aligning with broader high jewellery trends that favour bold, sculptural compositions and red carpet-driven styling.
The Eclettica collection is expected to further expand on Bulgari’s established design language, combining heritage motifs with contemporary interpretations, as the brand continues to position high jewellery as both collectible luxury and a storytelling medium within the global jewellery market.
