Boghossian has introduced Queens of Time, a new high jewellery collection inspired by the lives and legacies of 11 influential queens from history. Officially unveiled on July 20, 2026, the collection comprises 39 high jewellery creations arranged across 14 sets and represents more than two years of design and development.
The collection follows the maison's 2024 Palace Voyages series, shifting its creative focus from architectural landmarks to historical female rulers. Rather than recreating royal jewels, the collection interprets each queen's personality, leadership and cultural legacy through gemstone selection, colour palettes and jewellery craftsmanship.
The featured figures include Mãyãdevi, Atossa Shahbanu, Queen Elizabeth I, Cleopatra VII, Nefertiti, the Queen of Sheba, Zenobia, Wu Zetian, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Catherine the Great and Ranavalona III. Each jewellery suite has been designed with distinct gemstones and motifs intended to reflect the historical context and identity of its subject.
Among the designs are compositions featuring Paraíba tourmalines, lapis lazuli, conch pearls, imperial morganite, carved agate, spinels, rubies, tsavorites and antique coral. The collection also incorporates Boghossian's signature jewellery-making techniques, including its patented Inlay and Kissing settings, alongside intricate gem-cutting and stone pairing.
The launch reflects a continued emphasis among high jewellery maisons on collections built around cultural storytelling and historical narratives, combining rare gemstones with thematic design concepts. For Boghossian, Queens of Time extends its portfolio of narrative-driven collections while reinforcing its focus on exceptional coloured gemstones, craftsmanship and historical inspiration.
