Bell & Ross has unveiled the BR-05 ‘Blue Eagle’, a diamond-set iteration of its integrated-bracelet sports watch, signalling a strategic move into jewellery-oriented timepieces.
The 36mm stainless steel model features a deep blue aventurine dial designed to evoke a night sky aesthetic. The dial is set with 18 diamonds, including 12 stones serving as hour markers and seven forming the Aquila (Eagle) constellation, introducing a narrative design element rooted in astronomy. The gem-setting process on aventurine, a delicate material, reflects advanced precision techniques typically associated with high jewellery craftsmanship.
Powered by the automatic BR-CAL.329 movement, the watch offers a power reserve of approximately 54 hours and water resistance up to 100 metres, retaining the functional characteristics of the BR-05 collection while incorporating decorative elements.
With this launch, the brand extends its traditionally aviation-inspired design language into a more decorative segment, aligning with a broader industry trend where watchmakers are integrating gem-setting and storytelling to diversify product offerings.
Positioned within the accessible luxury category, the BR-05 ‘Blue Eagle’ targets a growing segment of consumers seeking hybrid products that combine watchmaking with jewellery aesthetics, particularly within the unisex and female luxury market segments.
