The elegant new showroom was inaugurated by Smt. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Indian film producer, in the presence of members of the Abaran family, loyal customers, well-wishers, and patrons. The event was a glittering celebration that beautifully blended heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural richness.
Dignitaries present for the inauguration included film actress Pranitha Subhash, who inaugurated the Sanya Fine Jewellery section; Sri C. K. Ramamurthy, MLA, Jayanagar, and Sri U. B. Venkatesh, MLC, who inaugurated the Diamond & Silver section; and Smt. Pallavi Gurukiran, who launched the KANTARABARAN Collection.
The redesigned showroom features distinct and thoughtfully curated sections to enhance the shopping experience for every jewellery connoisseur.
The Bridal Section provides a private and luxurious setting, available by appointment, where patrons can explore Abaran’s exquisite bridal and heritage jewellery collections. Brides-to-be can try on jewellery alongside their wedding trousseau with the assistance of Abaran’s trained team.
Adding to guest convenience, the showroom also offers ample parking space with valet service.
As part of its continued celebration of heritage, Abaran announced its association as the Official Jewellery Partner of the blockbuster film Kantara, which beautifully showcases the cultural legacy of Coastal Karnataka. The exclusive “Kantarabaran Collection”, inspired by the film’s artistry, was launched by Smt. Pallavi Gurukiran.
Abaran also introduced Limited Edition Coins in pure 999 gold (4g & 8g) and 999 silver (10g), available exclusively at its Bangalore showrooms in Rajajinagar, M.G. Road, and J.P. Nagar. These special coins were launched by the film’s stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, and producer Vijay Kiragandur, along with Abaran’s top management.
The day-long festivities reflected the vibrant spirit of Karnataka, with guests welcomed to the rhythmic beats of traditional Kombu and drums, and an enthralling Pili Nalike (Tiger Dance) performance by renowned artists from Mangalore. Guests were also treated to a sumptuous spread of authentic Coastal Karnataka cuisine, which received much appreciation from all attendees.
This milestone coincides with Abaran’s 90th year of excellence, marking nine decades of trust, craftsmanship, and innovation. In commemoration, Abaran has revamped all three of its Bangalore showrooms and opened an exclusive Rolex boutique at the Taj West End, offering an elevated luxury experience for its patrons.
The South Bangalore flagship showroom now showcases an extensive range of jewellery across all categories—gold, diamond, platinum, silverware, silver jewellery, lightweight everyday wear, kids’ jewellery, and the exclusive “Bride & Bliss” section featuring temple, jadau, kundan, and heritage designs.
The grand reopening was graced by several distinguished guests and dignitaries, including Member of Parliament (Bangalore South) Sri Tejasvi Surya, MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister Sri Ashwath Narayan.
The event was further honoured by the presence of Sri D. K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, who spoke fondly of his long-standing association with the Abaran family spanning over 55 years. Reminiscing about his childhood memories of Abaran from the age of seven, he expressed admiration for the brand’s enduring legacy and contribution to Karnataka’s jewellery heritage.
