Duchess of Cambridge wears Nizam of Hyderabad necklace

On her first official engagement of the year 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing a diamond necklace, the Nizam of Hyderabad, which was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947 for her wedding to the Duke of Edinburgh, reports say.

This diamond stunner borrowed from the queen was crafted by Cartier in the 1930s reports say.

The Duchess was attending the dinner for London’s National Portrait Gallery in a dark Jenny Packham dress. Also attending the event were celebrities including Elizabeth Hurley, Bryan Adams and artist Grayson Perry, reports add.
