Alrosa’s tender sells 90% of rough diamonds on offer

Russia mining giant Alrosa achieved selling 90 percent of the rough diamonds it has placed o offer through its rough diamond tenders I Moscow, Hong Kong and Tel Aviv. The tenders were held this week, reports say. The sale generated $22.5 million.

The mining company noted good demand potential across almost all its categories offered, and stabilization of prices with an insignificant price correction for some categories. The prices at the auction were 5 percent higher than Alrosa;s current selling prices.
