Shree Ganesh Jewellery House ties up with Bharti Walmart

In the quarter April 1 2011 – June 30, 2011, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Ltd., made steps for retail expansion and earned a considerably good performance in sales. The jewellery company tied up with retail chain Bharti Walmart to retail its jewellery. The company expects this association to be operational in the second quarter of FY'12.

The said three months churned Rs 69 crore worth of standalone net profits for the company, which was an 8 percent increase y-o-y. The company’s standalone income rose 94 percent y-o-y to Rs 2,406 crore. Consolidated net profit was up 27 percent to Rs 81 crore, while consolidated income went up 89 per cent to Rs 2,572 crore.
