The Organizing Committee of the 41st World Diamond Congress has announced the programme for the upcoming edition, set to take place from July 12–15, 2026, in Singapore.
The Congress will feature five panel discussions focused on key developments across the global diamond pipeline. Topics include African leadership in diamond supply, growth opportunities in Asian markets, geopolitics and trade-related restrictions, strategies to build natural diamond demand, and generational integration within the industry.
Held biennially, the Congress is organized by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA). The event brings together stakeholders from across the diamond and jewellery value chain to review market conditions and discuss industry direction.
Fabio Cascapera, Chair of the Organizing Committee and DES President, stated that preparations are underway as the event approaches. He said the Congress will host an international mix of government representatives, manufacturers, trade bodies, and industry leaders, with participation expected from the ASEAN region.
According to Cascapera, markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam present potential for future growth. The sessions will examine Africa’s evolving role in the supply chain, commercial opportunities in Asia, and approaches to strengthening consumer demand for natural diamonds. Discussions will also address the role of the next generation of industry leaders.
The 2026 Congress will be held alongside the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE), providing a platform that combines industry discussions with exposure to jewellery, gemstones, and timepieces.
Registrations are currently open, with early bird rates available until March 31, 2026. A group registration offer provides a 10% discount for five full-paying delegates. Additional details, including panel participants, are expected to be announced shortly.
