Gauhar Khan walks for Akassh K Aggarwal’s collection - Boudoir Collection

During the India Runway Week 2015, actress Gauhar Khan walked the ramp for Delhi-based jewellery designer Akassh K Aggarwal. She adorned Akassh K Aggarwal’s new Festive “Boudoir Collection”.

In this collection, Aggarwal showcased a recreation of an Exotic Royal Indian era of grandeur, splendor and preciousness of jewellery vanity. The floral and faunal motifs and combinations of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, sapphires, citrines and semi-precious stones lend aesthetic appeal.

Resonating with symbolism, the collection featured fine techniques in filigree motif, stamped light weight metal sheet work, embossed 3D and vibrant metallic colors of gold and silver.

A social message underlines the collection - ‘Marital Rapes’, a subject which still carries much shame, guilt and anger to it.
