The course was inaugurated on 20th February 2023 and is designed to cater to beginners and professionals in the industry. The chief guests of the inaugural ceremony were Mr. Vikas Joshi, Additional Commissioner, Central Bureau of Narcotics, and Mr. Omprakash Dadhich, a Former member of CBIC. The special guests of honor were Dr. Vibhuti Rai, Director professor of geology and gemology, and Dr. AN Singh, Director of diamond exploration.
