Giving Back to Society: Ankit Gems Sets up Primary School in Malan Village
The opening of the school is part of the company’s work towards social causes.

Ankit Gems, in its bid to give back to the society, set up a primary school at Malan village of Palanpur Taluka in Gujarat. The school was inaugurated on 28th October 2018 by Vijay Rupani, Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat. The newly-inaugurated school building is a state-of-the-art building with all the facilities & infrastructure. The families of Vasant Shah and Dilip Soni, who are the Directors of Ankit Gems, have always given a part of what they have earned for the greater good of the society.

On this occasion Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat, congratulated the donors for donating funds for a noble cause of building a school and educating underprivileged kids. He added ‘‘People who dedicate their wealth in building our society and nation are an inspiration for others. This social cause is the combination of Lakshmi and Saraswati Devi. By helping our society in such ways, we will be able to bring utmost satisfaction, joy and sense of responsibility towards each other. This is how the true direction of life is achieved.” He advised the children to educate themselves in the best way possible as they are the future of this Nation.

Further he said, “The state government has provided a huge amount of Rs. 27,000 crore in the budget for education. This will provide more education facilities in the state. The state minister said that the state government has given generous support underprivileged children. The government schools are being upgraded by hiring best educators who are equivalent to private schools. All government schools will be equipped with internet, television and computer projectors. Last year, 5000 to 7000 students were benefitted by a virtual education program.”

The company donated Rs. 11,11,111  to Chief Minister’s Kanya Kelavani Nidhi. The family of Parva Shah and Mukund Soni were very grateful to Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat who graced the inauguration ceremony.
